Mark S. Coco
Mr. Coco's work for the past 40+ years has been focused almost exclusively on litigation with an emphasis on employment conflicts. He has extensive experience representing both employers and employees and this allows him to provide clients with a genuine and balanced perspective from both points of view.
Mr. Coco helps his clients understand that while in some cases litigation is absolutely necessary, it is an incredibly inefficient and expensive way to resolve disputes.Yet, at the outset of any case, one must prepare extensively, and assume that the case is ultimately going to be tried in a court of law. Mark has been involved in a substantial number of jury trials and his clients can rely on him to personally manage their cases from start to finish. However, Mr. Coco also believes one must always be open to finding creative and effective solutions and should pursue alternative means to resolve the issues at hand in the most constructive and cost effective manner for a client.
His clients find him to be responsive and informative. Mark works to answer any question a client might have, with a clear understanding that "no question is inappropriate". He understands that legal work is his profession, not his client's. He knows his clients need someone who is willing to explain things in a way they can understand so that appropriate and effective decisions can be made. Just as his clients' own customers come to them for their experience as seasoned professionals, Mr. Coco's clients retain him for his experience, proven judgment and successful track record as an attorney. They trust him to resolve their problems effectively.
When he isn't practicing the law, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and attending sporting events.
