Ralph E. Dill
Ralph Dill brings more than 44 years experience to the protection of creditor's rights in bankruptcy, financial “work outs” and business litigation. In these matters Mr. Dill works aggressively to protect whatever rights his clients may have in property that is at risk. Mr. Dill often represents landlords in larger business (and personal) bankruptcies. In these cases the tenant may remain in the space operating the business for some time while a decision is reached about the ultimate outcome of the business. Mr. Dill works to protect the rights of the landlord to ensure that they are paid and to determine what the tenant still might owe, while protecting any of his client's property and claims throughout the bankruptcy. For secured creditors, Mr. Dill works to protect his client's rights and the physical property itself. Sometimes those rights are associated with something that is not in physical existence (such as Intellectual Property).
Mr. Dill works to protect his client's interests, to ensure that property is liquidated in the most effective way possible and that his client (the creditor) ultimately receives the value from it. Ralph's commercial and business litigation clients often find themselves in a legal challenge that involves a bankruptcy proceeding (for example: dischargeability cases – where a court determines whether a particular debt is dischargeable in bankruptcy). In these and all business litigation cases Mr. Dill works to prepare and develop his client's case to ensure a position of strength, while keeping a mindset toward seeking common ground for resolution. Mr. Dill approaches each case as if it is going to trial, but seeks to resolve it in the most fair and cost effective manner within his client's interests.
Outside of his practice you will often find Ralph traveling, working out and running daily (20 to 25 miles a week). Mr. Dill is an avid history, mystery and philosophy reader, and enjoys works pertaining to the political arena.
