Garth G. Cox
While a member of The Ohio State University football team, Garth Cox learned two things from Coach Woody Hayes that continue to guide him today. One is that success is built on being willing to outwork the opponent. The other is that “You Win With People.” The success that Mr. Cox has achieved during the 38 years that he has been practicing law is evidence of the fact that the advice given to him by Coach Hayes holds true on the football field and in the practice of law.
Mr. Cox believes that by outworking his opponents and surrounding himself with knowledgeable partners and staff, he is able to provide his clients the freedom to focus on their personal matters or operating their businesses, secure in the knowledge that legal matters entrusted to Harris McClellan Binau & Cox P.L.L. are in good hands. He is committed to finding an effective solution in the most time and cost efficient manner possible, with the goal being to provide the client not only legal service, but peace of mind today and with future legal and business matters. Garth’s clients appreciate his unique blend of expertise and knowledge, not only in the practice of law but also in his personal background and business experience. He truly practices Coach Hayes’ belief that “You Win With People” and has the internal resources of HMB&C as well as a strong network of external legal and business contacts to call upon to assist in the successful outcome to any legal matter.
When not practicing law, Mr. Cox enjoys travel, golf and attending sporting events. While this past fall was the first in 22 years that he did not have a child playing a recreational or intercollegiate sport, you will still find him supporting their efforts, such as his daughter’s recent run in the Chicago marathon.
